Snickerdoodle Banana Bread

Snickerdoodle Banana Bread takes the classic to the next level! Try this one for a delicious crowd pleasing treat.

Bread:

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/3 cup milk

2 cups sugar

4 large eggs

4 large bananas, mashed

4 cups all purpose flour

1 Tbsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

2 Tbsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

Topping:

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9 inch loaf pans.

In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon for topping. Sprinkle generously over the greased loaf pans, save the remaining mixture for bread tops. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, milk and sugar until blended. Add eggs, bananas and completely mix together. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix just until combined.

Pour batter evenly into prepared loaf pans. Sprinkle with the remaining topping mixture.

Bake for 1 hour.

Remove from oven and cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.

Store in airtight container for several days or freeze bread for a later date.
