Slow Cooker Beef & Potato Au Gratin

This Slow Cooker Beef & Potato Au Gratin will make a delicious meal to serve!

1 lb. lean ground beef

3 lbs. peeled russet potatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick

1 cup thinly sliced white onion

1 tsp. paprika

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. parsley

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chicken or beef broth

Brown the ground beef on the stove top. Season with salt and pepper.

In a small bowl combine paprika, garlic powder, parsley, salt & pepper.

Add half of the potatoes to a 5 quart slow cooker.

Sprinkle over half the onions, half of the seasonings and half of the meat and then half the cheese. Repeat layers.

Drizzle broth evenly over the layers.

Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Do not open the lid during the cooking time or potatoes will not get soft. Serve.
