Ricotta Noodle Bake

This Ricotta Noodle Bake is a creamy, cheesy noodle bake your family will be sure to love!

2 lbs. lean ground beef

1 16 oz. bag of extra wide egg noodles

1 15 oz. container ricotta cheese

1 16 oz. container sour cream

1 8 oz. can tomato sauce with basil, garlic & oregano

1 15 oz. can original tomato sauce

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cook hamburger, stirring to break into crumbles, until no longer pink. Drain.

Add tomato sauce’s and let simmer a few minutes. Cook noodles as directed on package.

In the meantime mix the sour cream and ricotta cheese in a bowl. Once noodles are done, drain and add to the cheese mixture and combine well.

Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Spread some of tomato sauce mixture on bottom of prepared pan.

Layer noodles over top of sauce then meat sauce and repeat. Top with shredded cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes before serving.

**You can substitute sharp cheddar cheese with mozzarella and Parmesan.
