Pumpkin Butter

This Pumpkin Butter is a great recipe for fall.

29 oz. can pumpkin

3/4 cup apple juice

2 tsp. ground cloves

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. nutmeg

5 1/2 pint canning jars with lids, sterilized

Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large heavy saucepan, stir well.

Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.

Spoon into hot jars, leaving 1/2 inch space from top. Wipe rims, secure with lids.

Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes, set jars on a towel to cool.

Check for seals.
