Million Dollar Fudge

Million Dollar Fudge is a fast and easy recipe to make fine, creamy fudge!

12 oz. semisweet chocolate bits or squares in small pieces

1 cup marshmallow creme

2 cups sugar

2 Tbsp. butter

3/4 cup evaporated milk

1/8 tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup chopped nuts

Grease a 9 x 9 inch pan.

Combine chocolate and marshmallow creme in a large bowl and set aside.

Mix the sugar, butter and milk in a 3 quart heavy saucepan, stirring to combine well.

Gradually bring to a boil over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Dip a pastry brush in cold water and wash down the sides of the pan.

Continue to boil, stirring constantly without touching the sides of pan, for 5 minutes.

Pour mixture over the chocolate mixture, add salt and vanilla.

Stir until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth, stir in nuts.

Spread in prepared pan and let stand until firm.

Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.

Makes 2 lbs.
