Jalapeno Bean Dip

Give this Jalapeno Bean Dip a try, it makes a delicious appetizer for any occasion!

2 lbs. lean ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

2-(8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

2-(8 oz.) cans chili beans, rinsed and drained

1-(16 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained

2 medium jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped

1/2 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

1-(10.5 oz.) package corn chips

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add garlic, cook a minute longer. Drain.

Stir in tomato sauce, beans and jalapeno peppers. Bring to boil. Add salt and cayenne pepper. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

To serve, spoon beef mixture over chips, sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with sour cream.
