Homemade Tuna Casserole

Homemade Tuna Casserole will bring your family running to the dinner table!

8 oz. package egg noodles, uncooked

2 Tbsp. butter

1 cup celery, chopped

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1 10.75 oz. can cream of mushroom soup

2 Tbsp. flour

3/4 cup milk

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/4 tsp. dried thyme

1 9.25 oz. can tuna, drained and flaked

1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Cook noodles according to package directions and place in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.

Melt butter in a saucepan and cook celery and onion until tender. Add to noodles.

In a separate bowl, blend soup, flour, milk, pepper, thyme and tuna.

Add to noodle mixture and mix well. Combine cracker crumbs and Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over top.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Serve with No-Knead Knot Rolls.
