Homemade Reese’s Valentine’s Hearts

Make these yummy Homemade Reese’s Valentine’s Hearts for school parties, your special one, or everybody!

1 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butter, softened

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 package chocolate candy quick

Melt butter and peanut butter in microwave for 1 minutes. Stir until blended. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix well.

Spread mixture on clean non stick surface (or sprinkle with a little flour to avoid sticking). Cut out heart shapes with a 1-2 inch cookie cutter.

Gently place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes.

Melt chocolate according to package directions, until smooth.

Using a fork, dip each piece in melted chocolate, covering all sides. Allow excess chocolate to drip off and place back on parchment lined baking sheet.

Refrigerate hearts for 10 minutes or until chocolate has set.

Decorate with extra drizzled white chocolate or sprinkles.

Makes 15-20 hearts
