Handheld Sloppy Joes

These Handheld Sloppy Joes make a yummy treat your kids and family will love!

1 lb. lean ground beef

1/2 onion, diced

1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 cup ketchup

1 Tbsp. mustard

2 Tbsp. brown sugar

1 13.5 oz. tube classic refrigerator pizza crust dough

8 sticks Colby jack cheese

2 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 tsp. garlic salt

In a skillet, combine ground beef, onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Brown until beef is completely cooked through and crumbled. Stir in ketchup, mustard and brown sugar. Remove from heat.

Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet. Cut in half lengthwise and then cut tree times width wise to form eight rectangles.

Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly over the eight rectangles. Then top with cheese sticks.

Roll the dough around the meat and cheese closing off all the seams at top and bottom ends. Place seam side down on the baking sheet.

Combine the butter and garlic salt, brush over the dough.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with Roasted Red Potato Salad, if desired.
