Gluten Free Banana Bread Cookies

These wonderful Gluten Free Banana Bread Cookies make a delicious and healthy treat for the whole family!

1 1/2 cups almond flour

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1/8 tsp. sea salt

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup

1 1/4 cups overly ripe mashed bananas (about 4 medium)

Optional: 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

pinch ground cloves

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add the almond flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon to a bowl, mix well.

Mash bananas with a fork and add to the dry ingredients. Add the maple syrup.

Mix all ingredients until evenly combined.

Using a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Gently flatten the cookies with a fork or back of a spoon.

Bake  26-30 minutes or until the middles are set.

Place on a wire rack to cool. Let  cookies come to room temperature before eating.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
