German Chocolate Pie

This German Chocolate Pie is a quick and easy recipe for any family get together!

2 1 oz. squares sweet baking chocolate

1 cup butter

3 eggs

2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup pecans

1/2 cup coconut

Garnish: whipped cream, shaved chocolate, pecans

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat until smooth, let cool.

Beat eggs, flour, sugar and vanilla for 3 minutes at high speed with an electric mixer until blended.

Pour chocolate mixture over egg mixture and beat 3 more minutes.

Stir in pecans and coconut. Pour into a well-greased 9 inch pie plate.

Bake at 350 degrees for 28 minutes.

Cool just before serving. Garnish with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and pecans.
