Favorite Fried Chicken

This Favorite Fried Chicken just tastes great!

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning

1 Tbsp. paprika

1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 tsp. pepper

3 eggs

1 broiler/fryer chicken (3-4 lbs.), cut up

oil or frying

In a shallow bowl, mix the first 9 ingredients.

In a separate shallow bowl, whisk eggs.

Dip chicken pieces, one at a time, in eggs, then coat in flour mixture.

Heat oil to 375 degrees in an electric skillet or deep fat fryer.

Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and juice run clear.

Drain on paper towels.

Serve with Garlic Smashed Potatoes for a delicious meal.
