Chinese-Style BBQ Pork

This Chinese-Style BBQ pork is delicious served with Cauliflower Fried Rice for a delicious meal!

2 lb. boneless pork roast

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

3 Tbsp. ketchup

3 Tbsp. honey

2 tsp. garlic, minced

2 tsp. fresh ginger, peeled and grated

1 tsp. sesame oil

1/2 tsp. Chinese 5-spice powder

1/2 cup chicken broth

Place roast in a large plastic resealable bag and set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients except broth, pour over roast.

Seal bag, refrigerate at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.

Remove roast from bag, reserving marinade.

Place roast in a 4 quart slow cooker, pour marinade over roast.

Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours.

Remove pork from slow cooker, keep warm.

Add broth to liquid in slow cooker, cover and cook on low for 30 minutes or until thickened.

Shred pork with 2 forks or slice and stir into sauce in slow cooker.
