Chili Tortilla Bake

Chili Tortilla Bake is a home style Tex-Mex casserole with popular flavors and bubbly cheese, there will be no leftovers!

1 lb. lean ground beef

2 ( 8 oz.) cans no salt added tomato sauce

1 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup frozen corn

1-4 oz. can chopped green chilies

2 Tbsp. dried minced onion

2 Tbsp. chili powder

1 tsp. ground cumin

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. dried oregano

6 whole wheat tortillas ( 8 inch)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, cook and stir beef over medium heat until no longer pink and beef crumbles. Stir in tomato sauce, beans, corn, green chilies, onion, chili powder, cumin, garlic and oregano. Mix well and heat through.

In a 11 x 7 inch baking pan, coated with cooking spray. Layer half of the tortilla, beef mixture and cheese. Repeat layers.

Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees. for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
