Cheesy Meatball Bake

This Cheesy Meatball Bake will be the big hit at dinner tonight!

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 lb. bulk Italian sausage

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup parsley chopped

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

1 cup Italian style bread crumbs

2 eggs

24 oz. jar marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, garlic, parsley, Parmesan, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, eggs and milk. Mix until well combined.

Roll meatballs in 4-5 ounce balls. If you have a medium size ice cream scoop use it for even amounts.

Over medium heat, add 1 Tbsp. olive oil to pan and brown meatballs on both sides, or until you create a crispy sear. Cook about halfway through.

In a casserole dish, spread a few tablespoons of marinara sauce to the bottom of dish.

Place meatballs in the casserole dish and top with remaining marinara sauce.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and meatballs are fully cooked. Garnish with parsley.
