Breakfast Sausage Patties

Make your own Breakfast Sausage Patties, they are filled with wonderful flavor!

3/4 cup buttermilk

2 1/4 tsp. kosher salt

1 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage

1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. pepper

3/4 tsp. dried marjoram

3/4 tsp. dried savory

3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

2 1/2 lbs. ground pork

In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk and seasonings. Add pork, mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 20 three inch patties.

In a large skillet coated with cooking spray, cook patties in batches over medium heat 5-6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160 degrees.

Remove to paper towels to drain.

Makes 20 patties
