Blueberry Buckle

This Blueberry Buckle is simple to make, it will feed a crowd and is absolutely delicious!

5 cups all-purpose flour, divided

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 eggs

1 cup milk

4 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. salt

4 cups fresh blueberries

Topping:

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup butter, softened

1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Combine 4 cups flour and remaining ingredients except blueberries, mix well and set aside.

Gently toss blueberries with remaining flour, discard any remaining flour.

Add blueberries to flour mixture. Spread into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

Sprinkle evenly with Topping.

Bake at 375 degrees for about one hour, or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

To prepare topping: Mix together sugars, flour and cinnamon, cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 forks until crumbly. Stir in nuts if desired.
