Balsamic Asparagus

Balsamic Asparagus is a fresh, sensational side dish to fix quickly. Serve it with any entree for a complete meal.

1 cup water

1 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed

2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar

1 Tbsp. butter, melted

1 tsp. minced garlic

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

In a large skillet, bring water to a boil.

Add asparagus, cover and cook for 2-4 minutes or until crisp-tender.

In a small bowl, combine vinegar, butter, garlic, salt and pepper.

Drain asparagus, place in a serving dish and drizzle with balsamic mixture.

Serves 4
