Apricot Chicken Drumsticks

Apricot Chicken Drumsticks are a favorite in the summer months. Great served right off the grill or chilled!

12 chicken drumsticks ( 3 lbs.)

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/4 cup canola oil

1/4 cup apricot jam, warmed

1/4 cup prepared mustard

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.

To prepare sauce:  In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.

Moisten paper towel with cooking oil, using long-handled tongs, rub on grill rack to coat lightly.

Grill chicken, covered, over medium heat 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 170-175 degrees, turning and basting occasionally with sauce.

Cool 5 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.

Serve with Deviled Egg Potato Salad for a delicious meal or Creamy Cucumber Pasta Salad.
